BUCYRUS—Local attorney Geoffrey Stoll, President of the Crawford County Board of Developmental Disabilities (CCBDD), has served the residents of Crawford County in his position for 12 years but his allowable term has come to an end.

The board for CCBDD consists of seven members appointed by the Crawford County Commissioners and Probate Judge. Stoll was originally appointed by the Crawford County Commissioners in October of 2009 to fill the remaining term of a board member. In January 2011, Stoll became the Vice President of the board filling that position until he was elected President in January 2014.

The Ohio Revised Code establishes the member eligibility, board member removal, terms of office and term limits. Board members must have professional training and experience in business management, finance, law, health care practice, personnel administration, or government service. At this time, Stoll has served all of his allowable terms. His expertise and commitment to individuals served by CCBDD have been greatly appreciated.

He will continue to support people with developmental disabilities by serving on Northland Homes and Properties board, a nonprofit housing corporation.

The Crawford County Commissioners have appointed Donna Conley, Vice President of Commercial Banking at First Federal Community Bank in Bucyrus, to fill the empty seat on CCBDD’s board. Conley will be sworn in at CCBDD’s January 2021 board meeting when new officers will be elected as well.

Crawford County Board of Developmental Disabilities, located at 1630 East Southern Ave, Suite 101, in Bucyrus, serves more than 350 children and adults through Fairway School, public schools, Community Services and private providers.
