Commercial fire in Crestline deemed total loss

CRESTLINE, OH (CRAWFORD COUNTY NOW)—Despite efforts from of mutual aid from several responding fire departments, a commercial building in Crestline has been deemed a complete loss.

The building was visibly burning when units arrived last Tuesday at 220 Campbell Ave., around 10 pm.

The fire was finally deemed under control early Wednesday afternoon.

Mutual aid assistance was provided by The Jefferson Township, Shelby, Bucyrus, Springfield Township, and Galion fire departments.

The units expressed their gratitude to Spots Rolling Bean Coffee Co. and The Wandering Lily Diner for supporting the firefighters with food and coffee.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation by the State Fire Marshall.
