Galion Police arrest Tiro woman on two charges

GALION—A Tiro woman was arrested by Galion Police early Saturday morning on two charges during a traffic stop.

At 1:48 a.m., Candice M. Corbitt, 34, was arrested in the 900 block of Edward Street for driving under suspension and reckless operation of a vehicle. She was taken to the Crawford County Justice Center.

6:10 a.m.-A report of a missing man who may be experiencing medical issues was investigated in the 200 block of Fifth Avenue. His information was entered into the LEADS system and sent out to adjacent counties.

9:34 a.m.-A domestic dispute was investigated in the 300 block of Eighth Avenue.

9:43 a.m.-A parking complaint was investigated in the 700 block of Timberlane Drive.

10:26 a.m.-A standby was conducted in the 300 block of North Market Street.

11:32 a.m.-A Nazor Road resident reported damage to their property.

4:02 p.m.-A WIC card found near the First Baptist Church, 445 N. Market St., was turned over to officers.

4:47 p.m.-A Samsung Galaxy Note II found at Cobey Park was turned over to police.

4:48 p.m.-A Grove Avenue reported someone has their lawnmower and refuses to give it back.

5:02 p.m.-A report of loud music was investigated in the 100 block of East Payne Avenue.

8:33 p.m.-Officers assisted the Galion Fire Department in the 8100 block of Ohio 309.

9:53 p.m.-A report of fireworks was investigated in the 400 block of Beechwood Drive.

10:09 p.m.-Officers assisted EMS personnel in the 1000 block of Harding Way East.

11:53 p.m.-A report of gunshots was investigated in the Grove and Homer Avenue area.

12:06 p.m.-A report of a gunshot was investigated in the 500 block of Grand Street.

7:09 a.m.-A Cedargate Apartments resident reported receiving harassing phone calls.

2:10 p.m.-An Ohio 61 resident reported the theft of a credit card by someone they know.

6:30 p.m.-Officers assisted the Crawford County Dog Warden in the 300 block of South Columbus Street.

6:42 p.m.-A South Boston Street resident reported their vehicle hit by an unknown vehicle while it was parked on the street.

8:13 p.m.-A report of three juveniles climbing in the storage shed at the girls’ softball field in the 500 block of Gill Avenue was investigated. The juveniles admitted to the incident and were advised against climbing on the shed in the future.

10:16 p.m.-A report of grass blown into the roadway in the 500 block of South Union Street was investigated. The resident cleaned the grass out of the street.

10:19 p.m.-Officers assisted the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office in the Harding Way West area.

12:57 p.m.-A report of fireworks was investigated in the 600 block of Crew Avenue. A person was issued a verbal warning.

3:49 p.m.-A South East Street resident reported being threatened.

3:58 p.m.-A Glendale Boulevard resident reported the theft of items from their residence by a handyman hired to do work at the house.

4:41 p.m.-A report of rape was taken and is under investigation.

11:38 p.m.-A domestic dispute was investigated in the Portland Way North area.
