Galion Police arrest two people during traffic stop

GALION—Two people were arrested by Galion Police during a traffic stop on South Street Monday afternoon.

Scott A. Jackson was arrested on a warrant and taken into custody. He was also issued a citation for driving under suspension. Michelle McClintock was arrested on a warrant, issued a court date and released.

The vehicle was searched then towed from the scene by Westside Towing.

12:16 a.m.-A domestic dispute was investigated in the 500 block of Galion Arms.

10:20 a.m.-A wallet found in the 800 block of Bucyrus Road was turned over to officers.

11:02 a.m.-Employees at Signature Health Care filed a report for the theft of narcotics.

1:59 p.m.-A report of two juveniles stealing vape pens from the Ashtray was investigated. One juvenile denied stealing one and the other turned the vape pen over.

4:36 p.m.-Officers mediated a dispute between two parties over the repair of a lawnmower in the 200 block of South Street.

5:50 p.m.-A report of juveniles throwing stones at cars from the overpass in the Ohio 61 area was investigated.

6:54 p.m.-A report of fraud was investigated in the 700 block of Hess Street.

7:04 p.m.-An employee of Rite Aid reported that two people were attempting to return items that were stolen.

10:04 p.m.-A report of a hit-skip accident was investigated in the 100 block of Sherman Street. Nitah Clay was issued a citation for failure to control.

11:05 p.m.-A domestic dispute was investigated in the 500 block of Galion Arms.
