BUCYRUS—The Altrusa Club held its annual dinner Monday evening at the Copper Irons in Bucyrus.

Three new members were inducted into the Altrusa Club of Bucyrus L-R Megan Ricketts, Teresa Spears-Corder, Carol Wagner

Altrusan of the Year was awarded to Jessie Furner. Furner serves as the Director of the Bucyrus Area Chamber of Commerce.

2022-2023 officers were installed. Attendees enjoyed a meal prepared by the committee. In addition to the appointment of officers for the upcoming year, several new members were inducted.

The Altrusa Club was first formed in 1917. The original motto of the women’s professional organization was to promote literacy among women and children.
