BUCYRUS—Crawford County Common Pleas Court Judge Sean Leuthold represented Crawford County well when he competed in the Ohio Police and Fire Games on June 18th in Canton.
Leuthold, a long-time lifter, competed in three categories that included the 240 lb. Weight class ages 50-54 raw bench press, also in the 240 lb. all ages (open) raw bench press and the 240 lb. weight class ages 50-54 strict curl.
Judge Leuthold took the Gold in all three categories by bench pressing 350 lbs. in the first two divisions and by curling 145lbs. in the strict curl division.
The Ohio Police and Fire Games is an annual event held in different locations around Ohio during the second week of June. The games were canceled last year due to the pandemic. The games have been held in various forms since 1977.
