BUCYRUS, OH (CRAWFORD COUNTY NOW)—The Ohio State Highway Patrol, in collaboration with the Crawford County Sheriff’s Department, has announced an OVI checkpoint scheduled for tonight from 8 P.M. to 10 P.M. on County Road 330, located west of U.S. 30 and east of Stetzer Road in Crawford County.

The checkpoint, funded by federal grant funds, aims to deter and intercept impaired drivers. In addition to the checkpoint, nearby saturation patrols will be conducted to aggressively combat alcohol-related injury and fatal crashes.

Authorities urge residents to plan ahead if they intend to consume alcohol. Designate a driver or make alternative travel arrangements to ensure safety. “Don’t let another life be lost due to the senseless and selfish act of driving impaired,” officials emphasized.
