Power outages plague multiple counties in Ohio, AEP reports

BUCYRUS, OH (CRAWFORD COUNTY NOW)—American Electric Power (AEP) is reporting widespread power outages affecting thousands of residents across multiple counties in Ohio.

As of now, 2,974 power outages have been reported in Crawford County, followed by 97 outages in Richland County, and 137 outages in Marion County. AEP has not provided an estimated time for when power will be restored.

Residents are advised to prepare for the possibility of extended outages and to check on neighbors, particularly the elderly and those with special needs.
